As Junior Sous Chef, you’ll be a key part of driving standards, developing talent, and supporting smooth kitchen operations day in, day out.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading the Team: You will lead and inspire your team. You will help them cook great food every day. You will create a positive and professional kitchen environment.
  • Helping People Grow: You will teach junior chefs and kitchen team members. You will help them learn and develop their skills.
  • Running the Kitchen: You will help the Head Chef with the daily running of the kitchen. You will make sure service goes smoothly and standards stay high.
  • Keeping Quality High: You will make sure every dish looks and tastes great, every time.
  • Hygiene and Safety: You will keep your section and the whole kitchen clean and safe. You will follow all food hygiene and safety rules.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experienced Leader: You have worked as a sous chef or a strong chef de partie. You have experience in busy, high-quality kitchens.
  • People Person: You enjoy leading a team. You give clear feedback and help people do their best work.
  • Attention to Detail: You care about consistency. You make sure everything — from portion sizes to presentation — is correct.
  • Calm Under Pressure: You stay calm and confident during busy service. You can think clearly and work well under pressure.
