Qualifications

  • Experience as a Junior Sous Chef or a Chef looking for a step up.
  • Experience with fresh ingredients and kitchen skills.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily operations.
  • Ensure meal prep is done to specification for 14 shifts.
  • Maintain good hygiene and food safety practices.

Job description

What you'll bring:

  • You are probably an existing Junior Sous Chef or an experienced Chef looking to take the next step in your career.
  • You will ideally have experience working with fresh ingredients and demonstrate good chef/kitchen skills (food prep hot and cold, cleaning, knife skills, good hygiene practices)
  • Good communication skills and a team player.
  • Self-motivated to work at pace, with limited supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices regarding allergens, kitchen essentials, and Food Safety.
