Full Time, 40 hours per week over 5 days, plus regular overtime available.
A Junior Sous role at THE PIG is unique. We prioritize local suppliers within a 25-mile radius, our own kitchen garden produce, and a lot of love to craft our ever-changing menus. Our passionate Senior Chefs aim to provide unforgettable dining experiences, with creativity at the core.
Our chefs engage in ongoing conversations with gardeners, farmers, butchers, and fishmongers about seasonal ingredients. We thrive in a fast-paced, energetic kitchen environment. Bring enthusiasm, your knives, and passion—our team will help you grow.
You will assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in managing one of the four sections, contribute menu ideas, oversee health and safety, handle ordering, and manage rotas. We seek confident Junior Sous Chefs capable of supporting a dynamic team, with opportunities to experience multiple properties and step into a Senior Sous role.
Knowledge of all kitchen areas is essential, as is a passion for modern British food and sustainability. Previous experience in a similar role is required.
