Fortress Safety is a rapidly growing organisation, headquartered in Wolverhampton, UK. Due to our ambitious growth plans, we are on the lookout for an experienced and ambitious Junior Software Engineer.

As Junior Software Engineer at Fortress Safety, you will be supporting the existing Software Engineer by taking on the maintenance and improvement of our existing suite of tools that are used both internally within the business and by our customers and channel partners. These tools interface with various eCommerce platforms in use and enable the configuration and selection of products prior to sale and manufacture.

You will have the opportunity to:

1. Maintain existing software-based customer tools
2. Develop, test, and release enhancements to existing customer tools
3. Assist the technical support team with customer queries

Minimum Requirements:

1. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
2. Experience and knowledge of C# and Winforms
3. Experience of HTML and Web development
4. Knowledge of SQL databases
5. Awareness of Scrum, Azure DevOps
6. Experience of version control (Git / Team Foundation Version Control)
