Your role

Are you curious, creative, and ready to make a real impact? Join our High Integrity Software Engineering Team and work on some of the UK’s most exciting and meaningful software projects across Aerospace, Defence, Rail, Automotive, and Energy sectors.

We’re looking for junior software engineers who are passionate about solving complex problems, eager to learn, and excited to contribute to systems that support critical national infrastructure and improve safety and efficiency across industries.

As a Junior Software Engineer, you’ll be part of a diverse and supportive team, working on projects that include:

• Designing and developing software for safety-critical systems
• Creating code that operates 24/7 around the world
• Using formal methods to prove safety properties
• Building reference models and exploring new tools and techniques
• Collaborating with clients and colleagues to solve real-world challenges

You’ll rotate through different roles and projects, gaining hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle—from requirements engineering to system design, coding, testing, and validation.

Your Profile

We’re looking for individuals who:

• Have a first-class or 2:1 degree in a relevant subject (postgraduate qualifications are also welcome)
• Communicate clearly and work well in teams of all sizes
• Are organised, inquisitive, and enthusiastic about innovation
• Understand the importance of software engineering as a discipline
