About the Role
Work closely with senior developers to design, develop, test, and maintain ERP applications used for managing key business operations such as finance, inventory, sales, and procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code under the guidance of senior developers.
- Assist in designing, coding, testing, and deploying new features or enhancements to existing modules using languages such as C#, VB.NET, or Java for Windows-based platforms.
- Build and refine user interfaces using frameworks such as WinForms, focusing on usability and consistency.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to interact with backend database systems (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL), ensuring data integrity and performance for transactional operations.
- Identify, replicate, and fix defects and issues using tools such as Visual Studio Debugger, logging frameworks, and performance profilers.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team’s best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and business analysts.
- Use Git or other version control systems to manage code.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (VB.NET, Java, C#).
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases (able to write and optimize complex queries, joins, and stored procedures).
- Experience with desktop application development (WinForms, WPF). Familiarity with UI controls, dialogs, form validation, and printing functionalities.
- Eagerness to learn ERP systems and enterprise software development.
- Familiarity with debugging tools.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and improve continuously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) is nice to have.
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, testing tools, and reporting tools (e.g., Crystal Reports) is nice to have.
