Job summary

MHR invites a Junior Site Reliability Engineer (Azure) to join the Cloud Operations team. You will gain hands-on experience with Azure, Infrastructure as Code, automation and observability while learning from experienced engineers.

You'll support and monitor Azure cloud environments, develop IaC with Terraform and Bicep, and contribute to automation that reduces toil, aiming to build reliable, scalable services for our enterprise SaaS platform.

Qualifications

• Some exposure to cloud, DevOps, scripting or software engineering, through work, study, an apprenticeship or personal projects.
• An interest in the Cloud, SRE/DevOps and Infrastructure as Code.
• Some understanding of scripting/programming, or enthusiasm to develop these skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity about how systems work.
• A collaborative mindset and desire to build a career in SRE, DevOps or Platform Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to automation that reduces manual processes and operational toil.

We're looking for a Junior Site Reliability Engineer (Azure) to join MHR's Cloud Operations team.

Your Team

You'll help support People First, MHR's microservices-based HR and payroll SaaS platform running in Microsoft Azure.

Working alongside Cloud, Platform and Software Engineering teams, you'll learn how we build reliable, resilient and increasingly automated cloud services.

Your Impact

You will:
