Junior Sister / Charge Nurse Paediatric Burns Unit - Band 6
The Paediatric Burns Unit at Chelsea and Westminster is seeking an enthusiastic Band 6 Paediatric Nurse to join their team. Mars Ward is the only Paediatric Burns Unit in London, treating thousands of children annually. It is a 6-bed unit with one HDU bed, accepting children with up to 30% partial thickness burns. Adjacent to the ward is a nurse-led dressing clinic seeing up to 30 patients daily. We offer various burns courses, including Burns Management Study Day, Foundations of Burns Care Course, Emergency Management of Severe Burns, and Burns and Plastics Pathway. The role involves long days, long nights, and weekend shifts.
