An exciting new opportunity has arisen for proactive and dynamic COSD Coordinators to work on a fixed-term 18-month contract at our Princess Royal University Hospital and King's College Hospital, Denmark Hill sites.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will assist the Cancer Performance Manager in ensuring robust trust-wide cancer data collection mechanisms and will be responsible for recording the Cancer Outcome and Services Data set (COSD). This involves developing complex reporting tools, presenting detailed analyses, and providing expert analytical and statistical advice to support administrative teams, management, cancer nurse specialists, and clinicians.

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Analyze and interpret cancer data to support cancer management and data teams.
  • Be organized, self-motivated, attentive to detail, able to work under tight deadlines, and collaborate effectively.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of NHS experience, preferably in a Band 4 or above role, and be proficient in data analysis, clinical audits, and information management. Flexibility to work across different sites is required.
