A healthcare provider in Salisbury is seeking a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse for the Durrington/AFU ward. This role involves supervising nursing staff, managing patient care, and contributing to team development in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have a relevant nursing qualification and a minimum of two years of post-qualifying experience, alongside strong leadership and communication skills.

Durrington acute medical frailty ward is a growing team of nurses, clinicians, and therapists. This is a fast-paced environment caring for patients with various medical conditions and complex discharge planning.
Durrington is a friendly and supportive environment with an enthusiastic team. You will be clinically challenged as a key member of the management and leadership team, deputising for the ward sister/charge nurse in their absence.
As a registered, accountable, and autonomous nurse, you will act in the best interests of your patients at all times and take personal responsibility for your actions and decisions.
You will be responsible for patient assessment, care planning, providing and supervising safe and compassionate care, and evaluating the effectiveness of care.
As an NMC registrant, you will facilitate the learning and development of staff and students. You will demonstrate strong leadership qualities and be open, transparent, and trustworthy. As a Trust employee, you will act with integrity and uphold the values of the Trust and the NMC Code of Conduct.
