Main duties of the job

The work-load throughout the department is very varied and interesting with no two days being the same. The successful candidate must be dynamic, possess excellent communication skills, and have a high sense of professionalism and a strong belief in the value of teamwork.

We will develop your skills to ensure that you work to the highest of standards to provide them with safe and effective care.

You will need to be competent in all areas of the Emergency Department including triage, resus, majors, ambulance triage, rapid access majors, minor injuries (plastering, suturing, wound care).

You will be RN (Adult)/RGN qualified with at least 2 years post registration experience and have a commitment in progressing within the speciality as demonstrated in your professional portfolio.
