We welcome applications from those with a current UK NMC registration. Please note, if you have an overseas nursing qualification and require sponsorship, we are not currently hiring internationally qualified nurses directly.
Your responsibilities include supporting the senior leadership team in managing nurses, ensuring high standards of care and professional standards, managing the clinical area daily, and leading a specific area of practice as delegated by the Lead. You will also provide high standards of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care within the Emergency Department, communicate effectively with patients and families, and liaise with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies.
To succeed, you should have excellent knowledge of adult and paediatric health needs, substantial ED experience, and extensive post-qualification experience. You will be responsible for a specific area during your duty span in the absence of senior staff.
