Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Band 6 nurse within Respiratory Medicine.

Albury is a general medical ward specialising in Respiratory Medicine. We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Sister/Charge Nurse seeking to expand their critical care/high dependency skills by caring for Level 2 patients undergoing non-invasive ventilation.

This is a busy and varied role, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate others.

We strongly believe in a team approach to working, and you will be supported in your new role by the Matron and Senior Sister.

Suitable Candidates Must Have:
  • Demonstrable experience in acute medicine
  • Mentorship programme
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Professional awareness and knowledge
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including nights and weekends
