Junior SharePoint & M365 Developer

My client is looking for a Junior SharePoint & M365 Developer to join our collaborative Data Delivery Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and forward-thinking environment, with access to fully-funded training and exciting development projects from day one.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Collaborate with our team to develop and test new features for our in-house EDRMS built on SharePoint Online.
• Triage and support 1st and 2nd line support tickets, with a pathway to progress into 3rd line support.
• Help maintain and enhance scripts and automation workflows using PowerShell and M365 tools.
• Create clear and helpful documentation for internal use and knowledge bases.
• Contribute to building out capabilities across the M365 ecosystem, including Purview, retention policies, and workflow solutions.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with PowerShell, Office365, and SharePoint Online.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to solving IT issues.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Purview and data retention best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Required Knowledge:

• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Awareness of data protection principles (PII) and secure coding practices.
• Understanding of ETL processes and data workflows.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

• Exposure to AWS Lambda or other cloud services.
• Experience with document management systems or workflow generation tools.
• Familiarity with project methodologies and Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Awareness of SLAs and how tech decisions affect users.
• Microsoft or AWS certifications – don’t worry if you don’t have them yet, we’ll support you to get there.
