We’re working with a highly reputable firm who are looking for a Junior Service Technician / Engineer to join their growing team. Duties

This will eventually move to a field-based position supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of specialist machinery across the UK. You’ll be working with a team of experienced engineers to learn the ropes, gaining invaluable exposure across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.


  • Assisting in the repair and maintenance of advanced manufacturing machinery

  • Shadowing experienced service engineers during site visits and installations

  • Developing diagnostic and fault-finding skills across electrical and hydraulic systems

  • Supporting customers and learning how to deliver outstanding technical service

  • Managing parts and tooling, with support from a dedicated service desk

  • Attending college (where applicable) to complete your formal qualifications

The Candidate


  • Is completing or has recently completed a Level 3 qualification in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Maintenance, etc.)

  • Has a genuine interest in engineering and fixing things

  • Is keen to learn and grow within a structured, supportive environment

  • Enjoys a mix of workshop-based and hands-on field work

  • Is confident enough to work with customers once trained

  • Has a full UK driving lisence (or is working towards it)

  • Can travel across the UK and is open to occasional overnight stays
