Overview

Junior Sales Executive – Chelmsford. We are a well-established and growing security systems company providing high-quality fire safety, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm solutions. Our services include design, installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance and servicing for commercial clients across the Southeast of England. Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a motivated and driven Junior Sales Executive to join our team and help grow our client base through focused lead generation and sales support activity.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively source and identify new commercial leads within target sectors and regions
  • Make outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to potential clients
  • Qualify leads through structured questioning and gather relevant contract information
  • Maintain accurate records of lead generation activity using the company CRM
  • Schedule meetings or call-backs for the senior sales team or business development manager
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on targeted campaigns
  • Track and report weekly/monthly lead generation metrics
  • Stay up-to-date on company services and industry trends to effectively pitch our offerings
  • Attend occasional client visits or trade events when required
Requirements
  • 6–12 months experience in a telesales, telemarketing, or customer service role (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Confidence making cold calls and handling objections professionally
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a sales team
  • Experience using CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) is a plus
  • An interest in fire and security systems or the wider building services sector
  • Full UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential
