As a RMR Sales Engineer you’ll contribute to the design and delivery of innovative automation solutions that will operate in complex, real‑world environments. You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues across departments supporting other Vanderlande regions in the disciplines of Sales Layout Engineering, Sales Engineering and Sales Consultancy. In this role, you will support the development of Life‑cycle plans and Revision, Modification and Retrofit (RMR) projects that are important to keep customers systems in perfect shape and to adapt it to them their needs. As a RMR Sales Engineer you are responsible to execute sales plans, consult customers and prepare concepts and pricing for complex RMR projects. You will do this by supporting, challenging and teaming up with internal stakeholders in pre‑bid, bid and closing phases to jointly secure projects. You prepare the concept and pricing for the project and align with all internal and external parties involved (Pricing, Procurement, Planning, Engineering). After a project is won, you secure and organize a successful project kick off with the Service Project Manager. You should be comfortable and flexible to work on multiple projects simultaneously. In your role, you are also able to prepare and present convincingly, the technical content towards the customer.
