Role: Junior Risk & Compliance Analyst

Tenure: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract | Hybrid

Proper Recruitment are on the hunt for a risk & compliance analyst on behalf of one of our established law firm clients to support their offices across North London. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a legal and compliance setting and familiarity with Anti-Money Laundering.

Responsibilities:

1. Anti-Money Laundering checks
2. Reviewing new client matters
3. Writing risk assessments and providing appropriate risk ratings
4. Analysing conflict checks
5. Undertaking spot checks
6. Supporting the Head of Risk & Compliance with projects and tasks

Requirements:

1. Strong organisational skills
2. Ability to think, analyse and use initiative
3. Attention to detail
4. Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
5. Excellent IT skills
6. Good interpersonal skills
7. Law degree min 2:1 or GDL/LPC
8. Compliance experience / Working within legal practice a must

Salary:

£26,000 - £28,000
