Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Research Analyst to conduct socio-political, security and economic analysis focused on the MENA region. You will synthesise open-source information, prepare concise, high-quality reports for stakeholders, and support IN2 project material development.

The role requires native English, strong English/Arabic editing, and excellent report writing, with the ability to present findings clearly to peers and senior staff.

Qualifications

• Native English language skills; strong written English and Arabic; editing content.
• Excellent report-writing abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of socio-political, security and economic topics in the MENA region.
• Strong research and analytical abilities; able to critically assess sources and information.
• Ability to present findings clearly to peers and seniors.
• OSINT experience preferred.
• Recent graduate with a background in Political Science/International Relations/similar related field.
• Interest in complex social problems in the MENA region.
• Team player; collaborative in diverse environments.
• Additional regional linguistic capabilities desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of high-quality programme material for IN2 projects, assisting programme staff in the collection and delivery of high-quality reports to key stakeholders.
• Contribute to the facilitation of relationships with new clients and partners.
• Help promote IN2’s work by drafting communications materials, ad-hoc reports and supporting any other related requests.
• Provide ad-hoc support to Research Analysts, Research Portfolio Leads, Head of Research and Analysis and IN2 business development colleagues as required.

• Comfortable synthesising research findings in written, visual or verbal form and presenting information clearly to peers and seniors.
• OSINT experience preferred.
• Recent grad with a research background in Political Science/International Relations/similar related field.
• Interest in complex social problems in the MENA region.
• Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment.
• Additional regional linguistic capabilities are desirable but not necessary.
