Digital Waffle is hiring six graduates into full 360 recruitment roles in Birmingham this autumn. You’ll be on the phone a lot, speak to hiring managers, and run the process from client to candidate. Training starts from day one and the senior consultant helps you every step of the way.
No prior experience is required; you’ll learn to build a client base, manage interviews and start dates end to end, and pursue a strong commission-driven progression.
We're hiring six graduates into full 360 recruitment roles this autumn. Read all of this before you apply, because it won't suit everyone and we'd rather you worked that out now than in week three.
You'll be on the phone a lot. You'll speak to people who didn't ask to hear from you, and for the first few months you'll get told no far more than yes. You run the whole process, winning the client and finding the candidate, which is what 360 means.
Months one to three are hard. That isn't us being dramatic, it's true of this job at every agency. The people who come through it are the ones still dialling at half four on a day where nothing has landed. If you need a job where effort is optional on the quiet days, this isn't it.
If that reads as a warning, it is one. If it reads like a challenge, keep going.
Every graduate we hire is paired with an experienced consultant for their first year, and that consultant earns a share of every deal you bill. They're not doing you a favour out of goodwill, they've got skin in it. So you get someone who genuinely wants your calls to go well, sat next to you, every day.
That's the part we'd want to know about if we were applying.
Assessment days in September. You'll meet the team, do a few short exercises and get real feedback on the day. Our senior consultants sit in, because they help choose who they'll be working with. You'll leave knowing whether you want the job, and we'll come back to you quickly.
