Overview

R&V Group Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and hardworking Recruiter & Planner Consultant to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and can effectively manage both recruitment and office planning duties.

You will be responsible for supporting the full recruitment cycle, managing bookings, and coordinating candidate placements. The role also involves planning and supervising office tasks across varying shift patterns, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review available positions and candidate requirements.
  • Post job applications on social media platforms and job sites.
  • Screen CVs, conduct initial phone interviews, and shortlist candidates.
  • Verify candidate references and educational requirements.
  • Manage the recruitment database and track open positions using software tools.
  • Liaise with candidates and clients, scheduling interviews and confirming bookings.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth hiring and planning processes.
  • Supervise emails, handle client correspondence, and manage bookings.
  • Assist with workforce planning, ensuring adequate cover across all shifts.
Requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure, particularly during peak seasons (Easter, Summer, Christmas).
  • Excellent decision-making and critical thinking abilities.
  • Flexibility to work across different shift patterns: 06:00–14:00, 09:00–17:00, 14:00–22:00, and 22:00–06:00.
  • Willingness to work weekends and Bank Holidays as required.
