Job Description: Junior Records Consultant at The Rehancement Group, Inc

The Rehancement Group, Inc (TRG) is a professional services and consulting firm dedicated to supporting our Government clients. We provide highly qualified professionals to assist in fulfilling our clients' missions.

TRG is seeking Junior Records Consultants to support the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Winchester, VA, working the 1st shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Compensation may include a sign-on bonus. Relocation assistance may be provided.

This position requires an active Top-Secret Security Clearance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare hard copy records for scanning by removing staples, paper clips, binder clips, and reassembling physical files.
  • Scan hard-copy files to electronic images.
  • Burn project CDs, file mail, retrieve, and return files to shelves.
  • Box records for shipment, verify transfer eligibility, and palletize records.
  • Destroy records, create inventories, and perform data entry.
  • Review files page by page, identify and mark records for further review, and inventory records.
  • Conduct other records management-related functions as needed.
Experience and Technical Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma with at least 1 year of work experience.
  • Active DOD Top-Secret Clearance (eligible for CI Poly).
  • Ability to perform records management functions independently.
  • Proficiency with applications such as Content Manager, Sentinel, HR Source, DIVS, and CATS.
  • Research and analyze documents based on business rules and security policies.
  • Organize and maintain files, records, and databases.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative work, producing measurable final products.
  • Draft documents and communicate effectively via phone, email, and other systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
  • Follow policy guidelines for tasks.
  • Support services experience; office environment experience preferred.
  • Utilize information technology applications and security systems effectively.
  • Wear and tolerate PPE for prolonged periods; able to stand, sit, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.
