Job summary

Go Traffic Management Limited (GTM) Ltd is seeking a Trainee Quantity Surveyor in Worsley. You will support the Commercial Manager/Senior QS, handle invoicing, cost control, and commercial administration across depots/regions, with guidance from QS/Commercial teams.

The role involves maintaining client relationships, processing rate agreements, attending meetings, and ensuring compliance with DOA. A degree is desirable but not essential, and Excel proficiency is a must.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general IT skills.
• Experience in commercial invoicing and cost management.
• Understanding of basic contract concepts.
• Degree qualification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain commercial client relationships.
• Input and maintain client rate agreements in work management and finance systems.
• Attend client commercial meetings as required.
• Support the Operational Team in daily commercial aspects.
• Undertake checks to validate sales recognition and accelerate issues.
• Work with the Operational Team to capture variations and compensation events.
• Ensure DOA compliance.
• Produce, submit and manage Client AFPs.
• Assist with invoice and AFP query resolution.
• Review and certify subcontract valuations.
• Process subcontract payments.
• Analyse data and reports as required.
• Review project costs including weekly P&L and reconcile cost and value.
