The key responsibilities for this Junior Quantity Surveyor role are:

• Assist in the preparation and submission of valuations, invoices, and cost reports.
• Support the commercial team in tracking project budgets, cost forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Help ensure cost control and value for money throughout project lifecycles.
• Contribute to the assessment and agreement of subcontractor accounts.
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits and commercial reviews.
• Assist with contract administration in accordance with NEC and other standard forms of contract.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure commercial objectives align with operational performance.
• Maintain records of variations, delays, and commercial correspondence.

Experience required for this Junior Quantity Surveyor role are:

• Minimum 1 year of industry experience training under a Quantity Surveyor, ideally in infrastructure, rail, or highways.
• Basic understanding of NEC contracts and public sector frameworks.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
