Junior Quantity Surveyor – Drywall Sector

Location: London & Surrounding Areas

Salary: c. £30,000 – £35,000 (DOE)

Start Date: ASAP

A leading specialist subcontractor within the drywall, ceilings, and partitioning sector is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to build their career with a business known for delivering high-quality, large-scale construction projects across the UK.

The Role

The successful candidate will support senior quantity surveyors in the commercial management of drywall projects, assisting with cost reporting, subcontractor management, and financial tracking to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
2. Support procurement and administration of subcontract packages
3. Conduct valuations and assist with cost reporting and forecasting
4. Maintain accurate financial records and contribute to monthly reports
5. Work closely with site and project management teams
6. Help ensure all commercial aspects of projects are delivered to a high standard

About You

• Ideally 1–2 years of experience in a Quantity Surveying role, preferably within drywall or interior fit-out
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills – confident handling spreadsheets, formulas, and reports
• Comfortable using general IT systems and keen to learn new platforms
• Organised, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator
• Motivated and eager to grow within a commercial construction role
