About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor with at least 1 year of experience to join our growing team based in Andover. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in electrical contracting who is looking to further develop their skills in a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of cost estimates, tenders, and contract documents.
Measure and value electrical works in progress and completed projects.
Support in the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
Assist in cost control and financial reporting.
Work closely with project managers and site teams to monitor progress and ensure commercial success.
Attend site meetings and assist with valuations and variations.
Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial obligations.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally with an electrical contractor.
A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or a related field (HNC/HND/Degree preferred).
Basic understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.
Good numeracy and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
