Job summary

Apex Resource Management Ltd is seeking a Junior Quality Engineer to support manufacturing, product engineering and quality management within an automotive parts environment in Leamington Spa. The role operates on a day shift, 39 hours per week, with training provided to support career progression.

• Fundamental engineering knowledge.
• Strong IT skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit Part Approval documentation, including PPAP, to customers.
• Support the Advanced Product Quality Planning process, including APQP activities internally and with customers.
• Carry out dimensional measurement and prepare measurement reports for new and existing products.
• Obtain IMDS information from sub-suppliers and submit IMDS information for customer approval.
• Set quality standards and establish quality master samples for use within production.
• Support the goods-inwards inspection process.
• Assist with the investigation and resolution of customer quality and build concerns.
• Assist with the investigation and resolution of internal quality and build concerns.
• Create and update new and existing Standard Operating Procedures.
• Analyse customer CAD models and 2D drawings using Autodesk Fusion 360.
• Manage the calibration process for metrology equipment.
• Coordinate and track non-conformance reports.

As a Junior Quality Engineer, you will provide support across manufacturing, product engineering and quality management within an automotive parts manufacturing environment.
