Jark PLC, a leading Mechanical Building Services contractor, invites applications for a Junior Quantity Surveyor based near Billericay, Essex. You will join the commercial team and support the management of mechanical projects, learning under senior QS professionals.

Ideal candidates include recent QS graduates or those with early career exposure in construction. The role offers exposure to valuations, final accounts, procurement and cost control within a busy, growing business.

Qualifications

• Support the commercial management of mechanical building services projects.
• Assist with valuations, applications for payment and variations.
• Support the preparation and agreement of final accounts.
• Assist with subcontractor procurement and account management.
• Review project costs and monitoring budgets.
• Assist with cost reporting and forecasting.
• Review drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
• Support tender and pricing activities.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, clients and project teams.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities.
