Job summary

Aquent is seeking a Junior Automation QA Engineer to join the client’s core automation team in London. You will write Python-based test scripts and contribute to expanding a custom testing framework.

You’ll work 3 days onsite per week in South West London and 2 days remotely, collaborating with three developers to mentor and advance the automation coverage in a fast-paced music technology/mobile apps environment.

Qualifications

• Solid programming foundation with Python experience or strong exposure to mobile automation testing tools.
• Familiarity with proxy tools to track data flow and anomalies.
• Solid understanding of QA terminology and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable Python scripts to expand the automation framework.
• Use proxy tools to analyze and debug data flows.
• Collaborate daily with developers to isolate bugs and streamline the SDLC.
• Proactively improve test coverage and automation scope.
