ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are seeking a creative and highly organized individual for the role of either a Junior Publicist (with at least three years’ experience in Arts, Entertainment, or Fashion PR) or a Publicist (with at least five years’ experience in the same fields). The ideal candidate will have established media and industry contacts and a passion for the arts.
The Junior Publicist/Publicist will join our small, successful team of personal publicists, working across multiple clients at different stages of global press campaigns. The role requires active engagement with global media, current trends, and the changing media landscape. Responsibilities include generating press opportunities, building campaigns, organizing interviews and photo-shoots, and expanding industry contacts.
The successful candidate will be a fast learner, deadline-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professional communication are essential. The role demands excellent writing skills, diplomatic interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, agents, and industry professionals.
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint is required for creating presentations and press kits, along with competence in other Microsoft Office applications. The candidate should be able to research efficiently, update biographies, and handle copywriting tasks. They will also manage the Tapestry social media account, designing engaging content to grow the brand’s presence.
This role offers opportunities to attend key entertainment events, including award ceremonies and premieres, with potential international travel. The working hours are 09:30 - 18:00, Monday to Friday, based in a central London office. Occasional evening, weekend work, and additional hours may be required, with a TOIL system in place for flexibility. Candidates should hold a valid passport and disclose any travel restrictions.
