Junior Project Manager - Derby

Salary: up to £40,000

3 days per week onsite

Junior Project Manager required for a leading client based in Derby. The client is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of network and infrastructure projects. You will work closely with senior project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about IT infrastructure and networking, looking to develop project management skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Key Skills and Responsibilities

• Previous Project Management experience
• Assist in planning and executing infrastructure and network projects (e.g., server migrations, cloud integration, data centre upgrades, network expansions)
• Track project deliverables, report on progress, risks, and issues
• Collaborate with technical teams to gather requirements and coordinate tasks
• Maintain project documentation including plans, meeting notes, change logs, and timelines
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with third-party providers
• Support risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
• Facilitate project meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, and industry best practices
