Job description

VANRATH is assisting a reputable Construction & Building company with the recruitment of a Junior Project Manager. This is a permanent on-site role based in Antrim, working Monday to Friday.

Salary: Fully Negotiable + Benefits Package

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver front-line management and supervision of works in line with the Project Manager's direction.
  2. Support the Project Manager with logistical, technical, and commercial management to meet business objectives.
  3. Assist in the design, procurement, construction, delivery, and handover of projects to achieve desired outcomes.
  4. Promote a culture of health, safety, and environmental excellence across the project and its contractors.
  5. Identify and mitigate risks impacting project delivery or airport operations throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. Collaborate with the Projects Team to deliver projects within scope, time, and budget, ensuring successful handover to operational departments.
  7. Ensure compliance with all legal, statutory, and standards requirements, including planning permissions.
  8. Engage positively with key stakeholders involved in the project.
  9. Participate in lessons learned processes and foster continuous improvement.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Relevant experience in the Construction or Building industry.
  • Proven success in planning, budgeting, and delivering complex projects on time and within budget, or supporting project teams in these areas.
