Site-based Junior Project Manager to be part of a team responsible for provision of the project management activities covering the delivery and installation of production equipment into the UK, which is then installed by a third-party contractor.

Responsibilities
  • Primarily to work alongside our lead to ensure that project milestones and targets are achieved (Install dates) to client satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • HNC-Degree level preferred in an Engineering subject.
Essential skills
  • Background in Project management to deliver project in line with client goals and milestones.
  • Experience of stakeholder engagement at all levels including client, 3rd party suppliers/contractors.
  • Liaise with all stakeholders on project process and planning including development and maintenance of project plans.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Troubleshooting issues as they arise or are predicted.
  • Able to communicate effectively with multi-site teams/relationship building across all stakeholders.
Desired skills
  • Automotive or Tier 1 supplier knowledge.
  • An engineering background (ideally Facility engineering).
  • Experience of installation/commissioning of new manufacturing cells/lines into a manufacturing facility in a fast-paced/high technology environment.
Experience
  • Experience in engineering role.
