Job summary

SER Limited in Sowerby Bridge is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support delivery of theatre installations and automation solutions. You'll work with experienced PMs and engineers, taking ownership of smaller projects and coordinating with design and installation teams.

Key duties include handover from sales, issuing drawings, briefing engineers, maintaining RAMS, keeping projects on time and within budget, and supporting senior PMs on larger jobs up to £300k.

Qualifications

• Experience in coordinating projects from handover through delivery.
• Excellent communication with customers and colleagues.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Experience producing or managing RAMS documentation.
• Ability to liaise with clients and internal teams effectively.

Responsibilities

• Take project handovers from the Sales team.
• Liaise with the Design team to ensure drawings and technical information are issued correctly.
• Brief installation engineers prior to project commencement.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout project delivery.
• Negotiate pricing and procure materials from suppliers.
• Manage stock lead times to keep projects on schedule.
• Process and manage project change orders.
• Maintain all project documentation and paperwork.
• Produce Health & Safety documentation including RAMS.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specification.
• Manage multiple projects at varying stages.
• Support senior Project Managers on larger installations up to £300k.

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 08:30 – 17:00 | Fridays 09:00 – 15:00

The Role

Working alongside experienced Project Managers and Engineers, you'll take ownership of smaller projects whilst supporting the delivery of larger installations of drapery and automation solutions across theatres and performance venues

Duties

• Support senior Project Managers on larger installations valued up to approximately £300k.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, Junior Project Manager or similar position.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Experience producing or managing RAMS documentation.
• Excellent communication skills with both customers and colleagues.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience within the live events, theatre installation or entertainment technology industry would be advantageous but not essential
