Junior Project Manager

Position

Site-based Junior Project Manager responsible for project management activities related to the delivery and installation of production equipment in the UK, to be installed by a third-party contractor.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure project milestones and targets (installation dates) are achieved to client satisfaction, working alongside our lead.

Qualifications

• HNC or Degree in Engineering preferred.

Essential Skills

• Background in project management aligned with client goals and milestones.
• Experience engaging stakeholders at all levels, including clients and third-party suppliers/contractors.
• Ability to liaise with stakeholders on project processes and planning, including development and maintenance of project plans.
• Attention to detail.
• Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting issues as they arise or are predicted.
• Effective communication with multi-site teams and relationship building across stakeholders.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of automotive or Tier 1 suppliers.
• Engineering background, ideally in Facility Engineering.
• Experience installing and commissioning new manufacturing cells/lines in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
