Job description

Are you an organised, proactive individual with experience in construction or project coordination? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? Our client are a dynamic and growing B2B construction start-up and are seeking to recruit a Junior Project Manager to add to their technical team.

In the role you will be the backbone of their project delivery, supporting the team in managing multiple installation projects across the UK. While you won't own the full projects outright (yet!), you will be hands-on in coordinating every stage-from contracts and surveys to installations and final sign-offs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing multiple projects at different stages (up to 10 a day)
  • Coordinating surveys, contracts, and deposits with clients
  • Liaising with electricians, scaffolders, suppliers, and installers
  • Ensuring all paperwork, permits, and safety checks are completed
  • Thinking ahead to spot and resolve issues before they arise
  • Delivering updates (even tough news!) to clients and contractors
  • Keeping projects on track from start to finish (approx. 16-week cycles)

  • Construction or project coordination experience - you will understand the industry's fast pace and straight-talking nature
  • Super organised and process-driven - juggling multiple tasks will be second nature to you
  • Strong communicator - confident on calls and able to manage expectations efficiency
  • Proactive problem-solver - you anticipate issues and act fast to resolve them before they arise
  • Resilient and adaptable - comfortable with firefighting and last-minute changes
  • Team player - willing to go the extra mile when needed. As a start up business, this is very important!
