Job summary

Experis UK are actively looking to secure a Junior Project Manager to join Experis. The role is based in Leicester, London or Manchester on a 12 month assignment, with a salary of £41,000 per annum and SC Clearance required.

You will support Senior Project Managers in coordinating and delivering interrelated projects within a programme environment, gaining exposure to cross‑functional teams and government delivery expectations. This is a great stepping stone in a public sector oriented career.

Qualifications

• Must be a UK National with a minimum of 5 years' residency.
• Knowledge of programme management principles and best practices.
• Experience coordinating interrelated projects within a programme.
• Experience in government/public sector environments.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Project Managers in coordinating and delivering a series of interrelated projects within a broader programme framework.
• Assist with project planning activities, including scheduling, milestone tracking, and maintaining visibility of key deliverables.
• Help manage project dependencies to ensure alignment with programme objectives and prevent delays or conflicts.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth information flow and consistent delivery across project workstreams.
• Contribute to stakeholder communication by preparing updates, supporting meetings, and ensuring key messages are shared effectively.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, governance materials, and reporting to support programme oversight and decision‑making.
