Job summary

SGI is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join the IT Department in the City of London. This role supports delivery, governance and cross-functional initiatives, with exposure to business and technology change projects.

You will work with IT leaders and stakeholders to drive smaller initiatives and ensure documentation and governance records are maintained accurately.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years' experience in a Project Coordinator, PMO, Junior Project Manager, or similar role.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Degree educated or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Track project milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, and actions.
  • Prepare project status reports and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project meetings, workshops, and steering forums.

Junior Project Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Project Manager to join the IT Department of a leading Investor Services business in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop their project management career within a fast-paced and regulated environment.

You will work closely with IT leaders and business stakeholders to support project delivery, governance activities, and the successful execution of business and technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of IT and business change projects.

  • Exposure to supplier or vendor management.
