Entry-Level Technical Project Manager – Mobile Applications

Location: Greater Boston area

Type: 6 month contract-Full-time

Our client, a global leader in innovative consumer products, is seeking an Entry-Level Technical Project Manager to join their Mobile Applications team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development of the next generation of connected mobile apps that power products across categories—from smart vacuums to advanced home appliances.

As a Technical Project Manager, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams spanning hardware, firmware, cloud services, and UX/UI to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of cutting-edge mobile applications. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for someone who thrives in a highly collaborative and technical environment.

What You’ll Do:

Drive Project Planning & Execution

• Define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables in coordination with hardware, firmware, and cloud teams
• Build and manage detailed project plans to align with broader product and business objectives

Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams

• Facilitate communication between engineering, design, QA, and product teams
• Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to keep teams aligned

Risk Management & Issue Resolution

• Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Manage the triage of issues, ensuring timely resolution and continuous progress

Track Progress & Report Updates

• Maintain accurate project documentation including requirements, status reports, and timelines
• Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on project milestones

Foster Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Support an environment of collaboration and innovation
• Stay informed on trends in mobile development, project management, and consumer technology

What We’re Looking For:

Skills & Attributes

• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for a range of audiences
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Comfortable working across technical domains and bridging gaps between hardware and software teams
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
• Eagerness to grow, learn, and contribute in a dynamic team environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, PMP) or a Master’s degree are a plus
• Experience (internships, co-ops, or up to 2 years professional) in technical project management or mobile app development coordination preferred
• Basic understanding of the mobile app development lifecycle, QA, and release management processes
