Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Junior Project Engineer (Heavy Lifting Solutions) in Portishead with hybrid working. You will design lifting systems for equipment over 500 tonnes, create AutoCAD drawings, and oversee projects from design to delivery while meeting clients and site managers to understand technical challenges.

The role offers daily training, progression, and exposure to rail, marine, and civil infrastructure projects. Commutable to Portishead is preferred.

Junior Project Engineer (Heavy Lifting Solutions)

Portishead - Hybrid

Are you a Junior Project Engineer or similar, that has experience designing complex lifting systems and want to join a company with a best in class training and progression programme, whilst working on rail and marines most complex technical challenges?

Do you want to work alongside industry experts who will provide one on one training on a daily basis to help you springboard your career?

In this role you'll be tasked with creating the design of structures that will be used to safely lift and transport equipment of over 500 tones via barge, cranes and HGV vehicles.

The ideal candidate will be a Project Engineer or similar that has experience with heavy lifting solutions and is commutable distance to Portishead.
