Junior Project Engineer role in Ramsgate. Responsibilities
- Supporting tender surveys and preparing quotations for special and maintenance projects
- Scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring engineering activities
- Assisting in managing project teams and delivering work within budget and timescales
- Providing technical support and liaising with project managers and stakeholders
- Reviewing deliverables and initiating corrective actions
- Creating and updating project programmes
- Recording and reporting delays and disruptions
- Pricing variations and assisting with monthly valuations
- Supporting site teams with technical and management input
- Monitoring budgets and reporting monthly
- Identifying training and development needs for yourself and site teams
Requirements
- Has experience in mechanical/electrical building services project engineering
- Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills
- Is commercially aware and logical in approach
- Can manage sensitive information and work independently or in a team
- Has strong time management and technical analysis skills
- Can liaise confidently with clients and supervise teams effectively
- Is committed to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high standards
Essential qualifications and experience
- Previous project engineering experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
