Overview

Junior Project Engineer role in Ramsgate. Responsibilities
  • Supporting tender surveys and preparing quotations for special and maintenance projects
  • Scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring engineering activities
  • Assisting in managing project teams and delivering work within budget and timescales
  • Providing technical support and liaising with project managers and stakeholders
  • Reviewing deliverables and initiating corrective actions
  • Creating and updating project programmes
  • Recording and reporting delays and disruptions
  • Pricing variations and assisting with monthly valuations
  • Supporting site teams with technical and management input
  • Monitoring budgets and reporting monthly
  • Identifying training and development needs for yourself and site teams
Requirements
  • Has experience in mechanical/electrical building services project engineering
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Is commercially aware and logical in approach
  • Can manage sensitive information and work independently or in a team
  • Has strong time management and technical analysis skills
  • Can liaise confidently with clients and supervise teams effectively
  • Is committed to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high standards
Essential qualifications and experience
  • Previous project engineering experience
  • Full UK Driving Licence
