Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd is seeking a proactive Junior Project Engineer in Birmingham to join a team delivering multi-disciplinary projects from initial discussions to practical solutions. This role offers exposure to electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems and involves collaboration with site and office teams.

You will gain extensive training, access to progression opportunities, and occasional travel to European manufacturing facilities, with a hybrid working pattern and a focus

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or engineering degree, NVQ or equivalent.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic or mechanical equipment.
• Experience within automotive, HGV, machinery, field service or related environment.
• An organised approach to managing multiple priorities.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Supporting planned engineering projects and reactive technical issues.
• Producing reports, work instructions and project documentation.
• Assisting with engineering fixes, product changes and practical solutions.
• Attending customer sites and European manufacturing facilities when required.
• Helping create clearer internal engineering processes.

Junior Project Engineer Birmingham

£25,000 to £35,000 + Friday Afternoons Off + Extensive Technical Training + European Travel + Hybrid Working + Progression + Independence

Are you a Junior Project Engineer looking for genuine variety and the opportunity to become involved in projects from initial technical discussions through to practical solutions? This role will give you exposure to product systems, technical drawings, calculations, documentation, training and project lifecycle.

The company is looking for someone it can train, trust and gradually give greater responsibility as they develop. This Junior Project Engineer role is not limited to sitting behind a desk and updating spreadsheets. You will work alongside technical, compliance, training and field-service teams, helping solve real engineering problems across electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.

Your Role as a Junior Project Engineer Will Include:

• Supporting planned engineering projects and reactive technical issues
