Job description

Our client is seeking a Junior Professional Officer to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will support the Client Officer and Senior Client Officer in delivering a range of client administration activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong academic background, keen to develop a career in client services within a supportive environment.

Job Duties:

  • Assist Client Officers and Senior Client Officers with managing their caseloads
  • Support administrators with routine client enquiries via telephone and written communication
  • Aid in monitoring WIP and Key Performance Indicators
  • Actively monitor and complete tasks on time with the support of a Client Officer or Senior Client Officer
  • Assist with training and supporting less experienced colleagues
  • Develop knowledge of WIP, KPIs, billing processes, and fee quoting with guidance
  • Support general portfolio administration including photocopying, scanning, and filing
  • Undertake post reviews, ensuring accurate classification, scanning, and dating of documentation
  • Assist with routine bookkeeping tasks, ensuring timely and accurate completion
  • Prepare draft trustee minutes and related documentation
  • Identify and suggest improvements to procedures and controls
  • Accurately record time spent on client matters using Navision
  • Maintain and update database records
  • Collate supporting documentation for the preparation of annual financial statements
  • Assist administrators with investment-related work
  • Prepare payments and assist with client transactions
  • Ensure bookkeeping and bank reconciliations are completed within specified timeframes

Job Requirements:
