Job summary

Advanced Engineering in Luton, Bedfordshire, is seeking a Junior Production Engineer to join the workshop team. You will learn manufacturing processes, assembly, testing and delivery under experienced engineers.

The role focuses on developing and improving processes, reading drawings and BOMs, and applying CAD (SolidWorks). Apprenticeship or technical degree preferred; willingness to learn and develop is essential.

Qualifications

Engineering or manufacturing background.
Knowledge of reading drawings, BOMs and CAD.
Ideally completed apprenticeship; degree or technical qualification with some manufacturing experience.
Willing to learn and develop in the role.
Experience with machining, welding or assembly is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support development and improvement of manufacturing and assembly processes.
Learn how products are manufactured, assembled, tested and delivered.
Support the projects team throughout all stages of projects.
Gain hands-on experience in tooling design, process development and continuous improvement.
Help improve productivity, reduce waste and ensure high-quality customer deliveries.
