Job summary

Nuclear Inst in Luton invites applications for a Junior Production Engineer to support and improve manufacturing and assembly processes. You will learn how our products are manufactured, assembled, tested and delivered alongside experienced engineers, while contributing to projects across all stages.

Ideal candidates have an engineering/manufacturing background, with knowledge of machining, welding, and assembly, and are able to read drawings and BOMs.

Qualifications

• Engineering or manufacturing background required.
• Knowledge of machining, welding, and assembly preferred.
• Able to read engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Familiar with CAD software such as SolidWorks.
• Willing to learn and develop in the role.

Responsibilities

• Support development and improvement of manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Learn how products are manufactured, assembled, tested and delivered with experienced engineers.
• Support the projects team through all stages of our projects.
• Gain hands-on experience in process development and continuous improvement to boost productivity and reduce waste.
