Fashion Personnel is seeking a junior product technologist to join a leading childrenswear retailer on a temporary basis for 8 to 12 months, in the Greater London area.

You will oversee quality and compliance across footwear, accessories and toys, manage the critical path, and liaise with suppliers and factories to keep projects on track. The role is hybrid and offers a staff discount, with a fast-paced team environment that values clear communication.

Qualifications

• Some relevant technical experience in product/quality
• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience or knowledge of toys, footwear or accessories is advantageous

Job description

A new opportunity has arisen for a junior product technologist on footwear, accessories and toys to join this childrenswear retailer on a temporary basis for 8 to 12 months. The company is an established childrenswear retailer with global recognition.

You will be responsible for managing the quality and compliance of your product ranges, managing the critical path and liaising with suppliers and factories.

The successful candidate will have some relevant technical experience as well as strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience on toys, footwear or accessories would also be highly advantageous.
