About You

You are confident, collaborative, and interested in becoming a Product Owner, or you are already a Junior Product Owner seeking to advance your career. While you may not have direct product ownership experience, you have a genuine passion for developing business applications, an interest in software, and a desire to make a meaningful impact.

You enjoy working with others to solve problems, are comfortable engaging with technical teams and stakeholders, and eager to learn how to translate business challenges into clear requirements. You bring a strategic mindset, ownership, and a drive to grow in a fast-paced digital environment.

Must have:

  • A strong interest in product ownership, especially within ERP, finance systems, or Product Information Management (PIM) applications.
  • Some experience (through work, projects, or related roles) in data analytics, business analysis, or technology delivery.
  • A basic understanding of Agile/Scrum and a desire to work in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to gather and organize requirements logically and meticulously.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a desire to build stakeholder engagement confidence.
  • Familiarity with data concepts (e.g., governance, quality, lifecycle) is a plus but not essential.
  • Exposure to or interest in tools like Jira, Confluence, Power BI, or ERP platforms.
  • An initiative-taking mindset, passion for learning, and commitment to a career in product ownership.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Working toward or recently achieved a Product Owner certification (e.g., PSPO, CSPO), or eager to gain certification.
  • Experience in a product, business analyst, or project support role.
  • Willingness to learn and use tools like Jira, Confluence, or other applications.

Your Role

As the Junior Product Owner Business Systems, you will:

  • Manage the product backlogs within the systems team.
  • Collaborate with Agile Scrum Teams to define and prioritize ERP, finance, and other business applications.
  • Translate business and data needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Work with data engineers, architects, analysts, and governance leads to ensure high-quality, trusted data.
  • Promote data governance, quality, and accessibility organization-wide.
  • Align platform capabilities with strategic business goals and stakeholder needs.
  • Represent the voice of the customer and business during product development.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection, regulatory, and internal standards.
