Job Description
Junior Product Owner (3 month contract - this may extend)
Location: Manchester /Remote

What are we looking for?
As a Junior Product Owner you will work closely with cross functional teams, including software engineering, design, sales, and customer success, to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our core platforms. Your role will involve understanding market trends, gathering and prioritising customer requirements, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products that address the challenges faced by the social housing sector. You will maintain a product roadmap that delivers customer satisfaction, achieves operational goals, meets revenue targets and aligns with Mobysoft’s longer term business objectives for growth.
Key Responsibilities
Working within the Product Team feeding into and executing on:
· Existing product strategy and product strategy execution
· Go to market initiatives
· Engineering liaison
· Product backlog maintenance
· Research:
· Partnering with UX in conducting and synthesising user research.
· Defining requirements and acceptance criteria.
· Cross-functional Collaboration:
· Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of product features.
· Coordinate with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure successful product launches and customer adoption.
· Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding product-related inquiries.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements.
Qualifications and skills
Required
· Demonstrable skills and experience exercising critical thinking.
· Preferably 1+ years post graduate experience, ideally within a technology related field.
· Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths or a business related field
· Understanding of product management principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
· Customer, user and market focused; willingness to get out of the office with travel in the UK to client sites
· Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
· A strong collaborator with experience leading cross-functional teams
· Demonstrates passion and enthusiasm for all things product and crucially, delivering success.
