Fast Forward is seeking a Junior Product Marketing Manager to enhance visibility for lowRISC's innovative open-source silicon designs. This full-time role involves creating technical marketing content and engaging with the developer community, offering a salary range of £38k to £66k based on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
lowRISC has recently enjoyed major success with the release of the collaboratively developed OpenTitan Earl Grey top level design which has been taped out and put into production by Nuvoton for Google. OpenTitan is the world’s first open-source silicon root of trust. lowRISC has also been working hard on other projects relating to CHERI technology and its deployment into the wider market, successfully working with both Microsoft (CHERIoT-Ibex) and UKRI (Sunburst Project) and also helping found the CHERI Alliance.

Now lowRISC is stepping up its investment in marketing to improve our visibility in the industry and to attract more users to OpenTitan, our Ibex processor and the CHERI security extensions to the RISC-V architecture implemented in CHERIoT-Ibex.
This is an opportunity to help fundamentally change the industry by driving the adoption of open-source silicon designs and methodologies on a global scale.
To that end lowRISC is looking for a Junior Product Marketing Manager whose main tasks are to:
lowRISC are looking for a technical person with a relevant degree (e.g. engineering, computer science, maths or physics) and at least 2 years of experience in a related industry in a technical role or a technically focused marketing role. We will also consider applicants without a degree if you can show relevant experience in technical roles in a related industry.

This is a full time role (lowRISC will also consider a minimum of 3 days per week part time) with a starting salary of £38-66k (pro rata) depending on experience. Benefits include a generous employer pension contribution (up to 12.5% subject to an employee contribution via salary sacrifice of 6%), holiday allowance (33 days including public holidays), private medical insurance, group income protection, life insurance and a 4 week paid sabbatical after 4 years of service. You will join us at our offices in the centre of Cambridge.

The team is based in Cambridge, UK, amongst the Silicon Fen’s ecosystem of high tech start ups. Our office is in the heart of the city and a short walk from the train station.
