Who You Are
You're an aspiring product manager with a curious mind and a passion for building great software. Whether through internships, university projects, or early career experience, you’ve had a taste of product management and are eager to grow. You're not afraid to ask questions, dig into data, or jump into tools like Jira or Figma to figure things out. You think from the user’s perspective, communicate clearly, and enjoy breaking down complex ideas into things people can understand. Most importantly, you're motivated, organised, and excited to work in a collaborative team where your ideas can have real impact.
Key Responsibilities
Feature Definition and Backlog Management
- Assist in defining product features and translating them into clear, actionable user stories
- Maintain and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Collaborate with the Senior Product Manager to refine scope based on user needs and team input
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with design, engineering, and QA to deliver high-quality features
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to support the agile process
- Ensure designs and specifications are understood and deliverable by technical teams
Product Insights and Feedback Analysis
- Analyse usage metrics to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities
- Collect and synthesise user feedback to inform product improvements
- Propose data-driven recommendations to enhance product usability and adoption
Internal Support and Communication
- Serve as a point of contact for internal teams needing product knowledge or updates
- Help craft internal training materials and FAQs for new features
- Provide support for product demos and presentations as needed
Documentation and Release Coordination
- Maintain up-to-date product documentation and release notes
- Assist in coordinating and communicating product launches and feature rollouts
- Monitor post-release performance and support with early-stage troubleshooting
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2 years hands-on experience in product management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A strong ability to break down complex problems into clear, concise documentation
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Notion, Figma, or similar
The desirable candidate will have:
- Exposure to UX design principles or information architecture
- A basic understanding of APIs, data flows, or how web applications are built
